Terms of Service

What each side is committing to.

These are the commercial terms in the words they are enforced in. They are deliberately short: a term that needs a lawyer to read is a term that was written to be skipped.

Billing

What you pay, and when

  1. 01One currency and one billing period, monthly, in United States dollars. When that changes the pricing section changes with it, because both read the same table.
  2. 02Plans are enforced where they are used rather than reconciled at the end of the month. You find out when you invite the person past the seat count, not in an overage line.
  3. 03Moving up a plan takes effect immediately. Moving down takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for.
  4. 04Every feature is on every plan. There is no tier that withholds provenance, restricted contacts, the assistant or the public website.

Leaving

Cancellation, and getting your records out

  1. 01Cancel whenever you like. There is no notice period and no cancellation fee.
  2. 02The whole tenant exports whenever you ask, records and documents and images, including on the way out and after you have cancelled.
  3. 03Your records are yours. Artful does not sell them, does not train third-party models on them, and does not send them anywhere the person asking could not already see.
  4. 04Migration in is included on every plan, because a migration fee is a toll on leaving somebody else.

Your side

What Artful cannot do for you

  1. 01You are responsible for who you invite and what permissions you give them. Price visibility and restricted contacts are enforced by the database, but who holds them is your decision.
  2. 02Every change is recorded with the actor named, including the ones Artful makes, and that record is available to you.
  3. 03Accounts are per person, not per role. Sharing one login defeats the audit trail that makes the rest of this meaningful.
  4. 04Uploading records you do not have the right to hold is not something Artful can check for you.

Changes

If these change

You are told before they take effect, not after, and the version you agreed to stays available. A change that reduces what you get is a change you can leave over, with the export in hand.

Price changes are announced 30 days before they apply to you, so there is time to stop first. These are version 2026-10-22, in effect from 22 October 2026.
